We are in Progressive

These are her goggles, so she can have protection from the light

We finally made it to Progressive on Friday. She's been doing fine there so far. Unfortunately, she has a slight case of Jaundice and has to be under a Phototherapy light for probably 2 days. Hopefully, today will be the last day for that because then she can wear her own clothes instead of being naked. She's able to regulater her own body temperature, which is a great accomplishment considering she's a tiny baby. I finally am producing enough milk to save and take up to her, so I feel really good about that. People said when your milk comes in, you will feel it...I feel it!

She's only opened her eyes for us a couple of times, but the nurses say she needs to be sleeping a lot because that means she's growing. She has lost a few ounces, but that is normal for any newborn, plus she's had surgery. They just want her back to her birthweight (5 lbs 5oz..minus the mass) by Wednesday or so. We are just praying everyday that her recovery is speedy, but we know that she needs to stay in the hospital as long as it takes for her to get better! Thanks for checking in with us and keeping us in your prayers...It feels so good to know that people you may not have even talked to in years are praying for the recovery of your baby!!
