Lately

I haven't been very good about blogging these past couple of weeks and some semi-important stuff has been going on. First of all, we had to buy a new dryer because the heating element in ours went out and we just really wanted a new one. Our old one wasn't very big and the lint thing always got stuck. We ended up getting one from Lowe's with a discount becuase Jackson's friend Nick hooked us up :) Our new one has a light in it and the lint changer is in the door AND it's much bigger. We are really moving up in the world!

Second big thing that's happened is our computer has a massive virus and is no longer useable. We had to buy a new laptop and I've been lazy with adding new pics to it. I'm hoping we can still easily retrieve our old pics from our desktop so I don't lose ALL the pics I have of Laine!! I have a photo album that goes up to 9 months, but other than those pictures they are ALL on the desktop!! I guess when it rains, it pours!

Third thing, Laine has been taking multiple steps lately which leads me to believe that she is just around the corner from walking! It's a bittersweet feeling because everyone says once they begin walking life is very different. I'm okay with the business of dealing with a toddler because right now she still holds our finger. We honestly spend hours walking around the house while she holds on to our finger. She is really not interested in a walker, bouncy thing or crawling (even though she is fully capable). She'll crawl for a minute, pull herself up on something and then cry for someone to come and hold her hand so she can walk! Of course we meet her needs and walk around aimlessly for hours, but come on, it gets old FAST!! We'll see, maybe by her birthday (6 weeks) she'll be a walker.

Last thing that's been going on is I finally got a new phone today!! I've had the BlackJack II for 2 years and have been dealing with all the hype of the IPhone and haven't been able to participate. Jackson got one over a year ago and I've played with his, so I thought well maybe I want something else. We went to the AT&T store today and I looked at Blackberrys and just couldn't seem to make myself buy it. So, I joined the other billion people on the earth and bought an IPhone. I'm glad I did, because I already am addicted!

I'll hope to be blogging along with pictures here soon, I just have to muster up the energy to size them and stuff!
