These are a Few of HER Favorite Things..

To start off..I hope Laine likes to watch the musical "The Sound of Music" with me when she's older as much as I enjoyed watching it with my mom..My favorite song is the one titled "These are a Few of My Favorite Things". Anyway, Laine has developed a love of a few things. She plays with a lot of stuff, but always goes back to these things..

This my friends is Bun-Bun. Bun-Bun is equivalent to a paci or blankey for other kids. She takes this little bunny EVERYWHERE. It's like packing diapers for her ..I don't leave home without it! I honestly can't even remember who bought her Bun, but for some reason out of all her stuffed animals this bunny has become her security object. I'm nervous that somehow we'll lose Bun and I won't be able to find a replacement. I do know it's from the Carter's store, so maybe around Easter I'll be able to find another one just in case!

Princess car! Jackson's parents bought this car for her first birthday and it's been a hit since. It has little piano keys on it that make sounds and has buttons that sing Disney tunes. She can push this and she likes to sit on it and pretend to be going "bye bye".

Her pillow pet! My mom found this cute little creature at a Hallmark when Laine was like 6 months old. She used it then and still loves to carry it around and hug on it now. They are too cute and if your little one doesn't have one..GET them one! They have them at a kiosk in the Northeast mall by Gymboree if you are looking for one. Her PB chair..I hesitated on whether or not to post a picture of this because it's nasty dirty, but she spends a lot of time in this chair. I thought I'd post a picture of it dirty, so you'll really understand how much she uses it. She feeds her babies, climbs, puts toys in, pushes us out of this chair all day long!

She wants to push this car around the house at least a few times a day. Used to, she couldn't push it herself so we had to guide her around the house while she tried to push it. Yes, I know the car is for riding in, but our little angel would rather push it around the house. Thankfully now she can make her way around the house without bumping herself into a wall and getting upset. It's nice to be able to sit back and watch her push, instead of bending down and pushing it with her ;)

She loves, loves, loves books! She prefers me to read them to her, but will gladly sit on her rug and read them to herself. I love to listen to her try and tell the story..
