Exersaucer!!

Here she is the first day we put it together..

Here she is today...



A few weeks ago we put together Laine's exersaucer and she LOVES it. She still hasn't quite mastered the art of the "grasp", but this toy sure does help her practice. At first, I showed her what all of the little gadgets on the exersaucer did and then she started exploring. I decided at first that she only needed to play in it for about 5 minutes because I didnt want her to associate that toy with be "abandoned"..I feel that is why she doesn't like to be in her play yard. I think I put her in it too young and she felt like no one was there to comfort her..I know that may sound weird, but that is what I think. Now, we have worked our way up to about 10-15 minutes at a time in it. I sit with her most of the time and help her little hands grasp the objects..she is so cute. She really likes the part that spins because it's not such a difficult grab, it sits low on the exersaucer. Most of the time she is concentrating so hard on each of the objects, but then again sometimes she seems frustrated because she can't quite get her hands on it. I think in the next couple of weeks, she will be a pro at her little toy!
