We got her this miniature pool and she liked it for a little bit..I think it was kinda cold
All holidays are more fun now that we have a little baby in our lives. We packed up the family (dogs and all) and headed out to Jackson's parents in Weatherford for the
4th this year. His family were all going to be there, so we went out there for food and fireworks. Laine looked so cute in her little 4th outfit and everyone just loves that little girl!
Jackson and his uncle Tom shot fireworks when I was dark and we all sat in the backyard to watch. Jackson's grandma stayed inside with the baby because we thought that the noise would be too much for her. Our dogs of course were terrified and stayed inside too. Jackson's parents live on the Weatherford/Hudson Oaks line, which means that it really is legal to shoot fireworks where they live. The other side of the street is where the fireworks are legal. After a couple of rounds, the cops pull up to the fence and ask if they were shooting fireworks and Jackson's uncle said no right when a flare went up in the yard. The cop ignored that and drove off. We decided that that time we got lucky and we probably shouldn't shoot anymore. The only problem was that they still had a lot to shoot. Barbara and I decided to walk across the street to the neighbors and ask if we could join them in the firework fun and they were really nice and said of course. Then we all loaded up and drove across the street to shoot the remainder of the fireworks. I'm glad Jackson got to finish his fireworks because that is his sole reason for celebrating the 4th!
