Phase or Personality??

Okay, so this past weekend I've noticed a big change in Laine's behavior. She's extremely clingy with me and she really doesn't like to be left alone even if I'm folding clothes on the couch. Everyday when I pick her up from Michele's she tells me how great of a baby she'd been that day and how she never cries. I used to agree with her on the never crying thing, but over the last couple of days she's been really fussy. I know she may be teething, because her bottom left tooth has cut through, but does that cause babies to be EXTREMELY irritable? It seems like she's really only like that for me. She stayed at my mom's last night and she said she was fine for the most part, but when she got sleepy she wanted to be held. That's normal, but yesterday and so far today she's has ONLY fussed! I took her temp and she's normal, I gave her some teething tablets and a wet wash cloth to suck on because I heard that helps to soothe sore gums, but HONESTLY I can not hold her ALL day.

Has anyone else dealt with a baby who is really clingy and is this just a phase or did I get lucky enough to have a really clingy fussy baby??

Erin, I vaguely remember going through that with Caleb when he was about 9 months old. It was definitely a phase-- but it comes and goes. Hang in there and hopefully she'll outgrow it soon.

Yep, I have been dealing with a clingy baby. My bicep is killing me today. She is sick though. It might be partially a phase and partially a personality thing. The good news is with babies, every annoying and difficult thing comes to an end. Sometimes it's replaced with an even more annoying and difficult thing, but since they grow and change so fast, it shouldn't be too much longer.
