being adventurous and playing with a stick..the cute flower in her hair matched her outfit perfectly. Leah bought her that bow along with another really cute flower headband that she might wear for her first birthday pics!

My extended family met out in Weatherford at my aunt and uncle's house to celebrate Christmas a little late this year. My cousin Leah and her husband spent Christmas in St. Louis this year, so we went ahead and waited on their return to celebrate Christmas on my side of the family. They live on a bunch of land and share land with my other cousin Nicky and her family. Nicky and her husband Darryl have two boys, Duncan and Brody and they are in the process of building the MOST awesome treehouse ever. It even has a zip-line included and is tucked away in a little foresty area on their land. I didn't snap any pics, but totally should have. I guess Lainey can venture out there once she's big enough to play on something so cool!
We had great food and fun conversation. We had a Chinese gift exchange and Jackson and I came away with some pretty cool stuff. He got a money counting jar, which is great for him because he kept all his spare change in a big mug. He came right home last night and started dropping each coin into the jar, right now he has collected almost $40.00 in his mug! I got a cool hand statue that's in a shape of an 'okay' sign. I also was given one thing back from a present that was stolen from me..a car vaccuum! I really could use something like that with a growing little one! It was much fun and love spending time with the fam.
