Carlie offered to take Laine's first birthday pictures on Saturday. We chose a great day, because it was just enough overcast that we didn't have to squint. I wanted to go to the Botanical Gardens so we could have her pics done outdoors. We found a bunch of great little spots to snap some pics of her. Carlie is tyring to start up a photography business and let me tell you, she's really good! She is very patient and definitely understands the idea of "action" shots. If you ever need anyone who is flexible in schedules, doesn't require a "package" buy and really enjoys taking pics, then she's your girl! I know she was worried about them not turning out well, but they were GREAT!
I got Laine's outfit made a couple of weekends before and I couldn't wait to get her in it. I got the tutu from Abby's Tutu Factory and it turned out the exact way I envisioned. I got her onesie made by Josh's cousin's wife and she did a great job. Laine's babysitter found the converse at Rack Room and my mom went on her lunch break one day and got them. The bow is from Brownstone Village. I wanted a different look for her bow and the crinkled effect really turned out cute. The outfit came together exactly how I wanted it and I couldn't be happier with the pictures and the outfit! These are some of the shots, enjoy!
