We have done LOTS of swimming this summer, whether it's a a waterpark or a friend's pool! Laine absolutely loves the water this summer and LOVES her floaties. She is so more independent and brave when she has those on. She wants me to let go of her and she'll just splash around on her own with those on. She's also braver about going under water for a second while I'm holding her and is also getting better at kicking her legs to go. Today we went over to Traci's parents' house and had a blast. They have a beautiful home and pool, so it was a lot of fun to hangout there. The kiddos played and swam and then we all ate lunch by the pool. We stayed about 3 hours and when we got home Laine took a 2 1/2 hour nap. I love that we've gone to the pool so much this year and hope to go LOTS more in the next month before school starts!
