4th of July

This 4th of July was different from the past because my family now has a pool to swim in on one of the hottest days of the year. Each year we question why we don't have a pool in the family and when we planned on moving it was a MUST for us to have our own pool. The celebrations started when Jackson's side of the family came over the weekend before the 4th and we cooked out and swam. Then, on the 4th my family came over and we cooked out again and relaxed in the pool most of the day. It's so nice to be able to entertain with a fun outdoor space. On Tuesday, Jackson, Laine and I met the Lewis' and Clint and Patty at Levitt Pavilion in Arlington to listen to the bands, let the girls play in the kiddie area and watch fireworks. We went last year, and had a great time so we decided to come back again this year. It was hot, but once the sun went down it was nice and we had a lot of fun. Avery and Laine played and danced and loved the fireworks. I love that we all get to share these fun experiences with such good, close friends!
