Well I started back at my job this week which means I am no longer a SAHM. If I had my choice, I would stay home but it's not financially possible this year. Hopefully next year Jackson will be in a better position at work and I'll be able to stay home! Right now I am REALLY missing my sweet baby and I miss our routine. It used to be that we would get up around 8:00 and I would make coffee and feed her her baby food. Then we would watch (really I would) the Today Show and I would feed her a bottle. She'd then go down for a morning nap after a little playing and I would clean up or do some laundry and take a shower. After her nap we would run an errand or two and come home and play some more and she'd take an afternoon nap. I would feed her again and then about that time her daddy would be home from work and we would have family time..
Now, I leave the house at 7:20 and don't get home until about 5 each day..It's so hard to get used to not seeing her sweet face and being the one to witness all of her adorable coos and smiles. I love my job and enjoy going to work each day, but I also really LOVE my baby and would chose staying home with her if I could.
Thankfully Jackson and I found an awesome family to watch Laine everyday. Her house pretty much backs up to my school and she is a volunteer at the school, so Laine will be up there often. I'll probably see her more than most moms see their babies who have to work. The whole family is awesome and I couldn't have asked for or found a better family to take care of our sweet baby. They love her like she's in the family and I know they take wonderful care of her while I am at work. I look forward to this year and what it has in store for us and I know even though I'm not the one taking care of my baby all day, that she is in terrific hands!

Being a working mom is hard. Since I'm in school I've gotten to see my girls way more than I ever did working. I definitely see why moms love staying at home.
I understand this post completely!
