Yesterday Jackson, Laine and I made the trip out to Granbury. Jackson's grandma and her husband have a lakehouse out there. It's always fun going out to the lake because they have a dock and a big backyard with friendly neighbors. I can't wait to take Laine this summer and have her feed the ducks! This time the extent of our fun was laying on a blanket in the backyard and watching the trees.
It was a good trip because it was the first time Jackson's cousin Dani and her family had met Laine. She has two adorable little boys, Jackson and Mason and they're actually our godchildren. Of course they thought she was adorable (how could you not :) ). We hung out there for awhile and then drove into town to eat at Babe's. I'm not really a meat and potatoes kind of girl, but it was good for what type of food it was. Laine can now sit in a highchair and hang out with the big people, so she has a lot of fun going out to eat. Of course by the end it started coming close to her bedtime so she got fussy, but for the most part she did great. We didn't get to walk around because she was ready for bed, but we are going out there again this Christmas so it should be alot of fun walking around when the town square is decorated!
