Well this weekend we've been busy going out to eat and shopping, so we wanted a low-key Sunday staying at home. Friday night we went out to eat in Arlington at Red Lobster. First of all, I hate seafood and secondly it took us 1 hour to drive from our house in Bedford to the Parks Mall area in Arlington. I wanted to see my parents and I knew they wanted to see the baby, but next time we do a Friday night dinner it's going to be on our side of town!
Then, Saturday we went to the mall and ran errands with my mom, Carlie, Avery and Patty. We went to Children's Place and got some cute winter stuff and we got her a couple of books from Barnes and Nobles. We were hungry from all of our shopping, so we went to eat at McAlister's. All was well until I figured out that I forgot to put the formula dispenser back in the diaper bag after I filled it up! She ate her baby food and when we got in the car to go to Kohl's she had a nervous breakdown. It's not easy getting around in Arlington on a Saturday, so it took us about 15 minutes to reach a grocery store to buy some more formula. By the time I got in the store and bought it, she had broken into hives pretty much from all of the crying. I have never and will never again forget to pack her bottle!!! We reached Kohl's and all of the toys were 40% off so we got Lainey some new toys to play with since all of hers are just hand held little things.
Everyone went out for Josh's birthday last night, but I could barely hold my head up by 8:00, so we didn't make the trip. I know they had fun and we wish we could have been there. Today, we just lounged around all day and then I worked up enough energy to go to the grocery store. Laine loves the grocery store now, because she gets to sit in the seat part like a big girl! It's so fun to watch her look around and laugh. We've had fun today playing and relaxing!
