10 Months!

Lainey bug is now 10 months old! That means in 8 weeks, she'll be a toddler instead of an infant!! She's doing SO many things right now:
*says 'mama' and 'dada' indiscriminately
*says 'eow' for 'meow'..You can just ask her what a kitty says and she'll say "eow"
*She can say uh-oh and I make her say it ALL the time.
*She's tried LOTS of adult food and seems to like most of it.
*She cruises on all the furniture and wants to walk SO bad.
*Just recently, she's started crawling a lot more. She seemed to not really get that it was getting her places and now she's figuring that out and seems to enjoy crawling more.
*To date (knock on wood) she has not had a fever of any degree!!
*She gives kisses with an open mouth.
*She LOVES her bath and gets really after I take her out. It seems to make her a little hyper.
*She is pretty scared of most babies her size. She loves kids and watches them intently, but babies her own age terrify her. I'm still trying to figure this one out. She cries when they yell (you know just talking) and gets to me as fast as she can when they try to come up to her. I really hope she outgrows this!!
*One weird thing she's started doing is shaking her head back and forth. I read in one of my books that she might be trying to cope with teething pain, or she likes the rhythmic feeling..who knows, but it's sort of creepy looking.
*She weighs: 18 lbs 9oz (at 9 months) and is 28 in. long.

I know I'm forgetting stuff! We love you Lainey Bug!!
