11 Months!

Pretty much on her own!


Our bug is 11 months old today! She turned 11 months old on the day that Texas had it's most snowfall within a 24 hour period EVER!! I couldn't believe the amount of snow that fell today, it was definitely a sight to see! Anyway, our Lainey has brought us so much joy and has taught us so much! We are so blessed to have such a happy, fun, beautiful toddler! Here are some things that Laine's accomplished:

*She has ALMOST mastered walking. She can do it on her own, but isn't quite brave enough yet. She can turn and keep her balance and walk around things, but she won't do it 100% of the time yet.
*She eats a lot more adult food than baby food now, but still really likes her baby food too. She eats mostly meat sticks, cheese, brocoli, bananas, bread, tortillas..She does still usually once or twice a day have a stage 3 baby food item, just because I feel like she's getting more nutrients when she eats the baby food.
*Only 2 more weeks or so and we will NEVER have to buy formula again (hopefully I hope to successfully nurse the 2nd baby).
*She can say: ma ma, da da, uh-oh, meow, and it really seems that she tries to put syllables together to form "I love you". She "talks" constantly, but still hasn't formed many "real" words.
*She doesn't seem to be as afraid of babies as she used to be, but definitely still favors big kids.
*She loves everyone and will go to most anyone. I credit that to her being at Michele's all day and meeting new people often.
*She LOVES her dogs and wants to pat them and pull their hair constantly.
* She pats us and hugs us now and does it at the right times.
*She loves her blankets, baby dolls and stuffed animals. She'll hug them and pat them and lay her head down on them. Pretty much the cutest thing EVER.
*She's wearing mostly 12 month clothes, but I think she could even pull off some 12-18 month stuff.
*She still takes 2 naps a day, but are not as long as they used to be...Sorry Michele :)

I know there's more, but that's the majority of the new stuff and in one more month our tiny preemie will be 1!!
