It seems like we've been so busy thes passed few weeks that I haven't taken the time to sit down and blog. I really need to order my book from last year (yes, I know it's now May) but that again takes time that I don't seem to have right now. I keep saying, "Oh, I'll do that as soon as school's over", but I know that some of those things won't get done this summer even!
Jackson and I really want to redo our patio/deck area outside and we are going to start looking around at stone and furniture once he gets back from this training he's at. I'm excited about that because I want to flagstone the area where there is red brick right now and then get a new grill and new furniture. With Laine, I know we'll be spending lots of time outside and I want to enjoy what I'm looking at while I'm out there playing with her.
School is out in 4 1/2 weeks and I couldn't be more excited to spend time with Laine and just relax! This year has flown by and I am really thankful for the class I've been given this year. They are such joys to be around and really make my job so easy. I've been blessed with great kids and great parents for this school year!
Laine has been growing and learning so much these days. She's almost 14 months and brings more love and joy to our lives daily. She is saying all sorts of things and her facial expressions crack us up. She finally is saying "mama" now! For so long, she would only say "dada" and use it correctly and now she's added "mama" to her vocabulary! She has so many facial expressions and likes to give us a run for our money. I wanted a girl, and boy did I get one! She is a bit high maintenance and definitely is sassy, but we love her so much! I love the pics from above because for one: her outfit is adorable and for two: her poses crack me up!
