Heather and Greg at rehearsal...Burboun Orleans Hotel

Thursday afternoon Jackson and I began our roadtrip to New Orleans, LA! Jackson's friend from Jr. Co. ball was getting married and he was a groomsman. We stayed the night in Alexandria and then woke up on Friday morning and drove the rest of the way to New Orleans. We had a great time! Friday afternoon, Jackson and I walked around the French Quarter and Burboun St. It was both our second time to be there, but it was still fun to experience the culture and traditions of New Orleans. Then, Friday night we did the rehearsal at the hotel and then went and ate delicious food at one of the restaurants around the French Quarter.
Saturday was the big day, so Jackson had to go play golf and then hang out with Greg and all the other groomsmen. I decided to take advantage of my alone time and spent the day people watching at the pool. It was more than relaxing! After a day at the pool, I walked around the corner to a deli and had a glass of sangria and watched more people! It was so fun and relaxing. I got ready and then met up with one of the other girls whose boyfriend was also in the wedding and we went up to the ceremony together. The ceremony was truly beautiful and their story is amazing. We then celebrated at the reception and had a great time. Jackson and I wanted to get up early to get back home so we skipped going out with everyone else on Burboun, but we hope to get together with those guys again sometime soon! Congrats Heather and Greg! Your wedding was so special and you two are a sweet, happy couple!! See you in Mexico ;).
