14 Months

Laine turned 14 months a couple of days ago! Just in the last couple of days she's really started to communicate more and mimic a lot of what I do. Jackson has been out of town, so I am really excited for him to get back and see all the new things she's doing. She is really curious now and watches everything I do. Just tonight she came up to me and bonked me on the head and said, "Ow". Her favorite words right now are ow, and uh-oh. She's been saying uh-oh forever, but she's really been saying it here lately. Also, tonight she saw me pull some hair out of my dog that was about to fall out and then she went over and pulled a huge clump of hair out of her and showed it to me with this big grin on her face. I guess I can't pull my dog's hair out anymore in front of her...

She also says: mama, dada, doggie, no and mine. I love to hear her talk and see what she's going to try and say next. She's really got down the s sound too. I bought her some flashcards with pictures of animals on them, so once school's out we'll work on animals too! She loves to push things, mostly her cozy coupe car, but she'll settle for most anything. I weighed her tonight and she weighed 21.2 lbs, and she's in 12-18 month clothes. She really loves mexican food and will do most anything to get her hands on guacomole. She's an awesome sleeper and she really doesn't fight naps all that much either.
