She's taking a break from her book to help a buddy read his :)
Today I took off a half day to go to the Christmas party at Laine's MDO. The party wasn't until 1:30 so another teacher at my school who has a little boy in Laine's class went and enjoyed Corner Bakery and then shopped around a little until the party. When we got there all the babies were still asleep so we waited for their teachers to turn on the lights and music before we went in. Laine was up instantly and dancing before any of the others had even opened their eyes..Go figure.
Once they were all awake, they enjoyed some cookies (well actually Laine enjoyed 4 cookies) and a juice box. Then, they had their book "gift exchange". Most of the kids wouldn't go up and choose their own book, but of course Laine would. She picked a really cute Curious George book that we actually read tonight before bed :) We then said Merry Christmas to her teachers because today was the last day of school until the new year! I'm so glad I decided to enroll Laine in MDO, she LOVES her teachers!
