Saturday the Lewis', Patty, my mom and us decided to take the girls down to the Fort Worth Stock Show. It was a really fun time because the girls were old enough to really enjoy the animals and all the fun activities they had for kids. Haley Harris was out there with her high school kids getting ready for the show today and she took us to where her cows were so the girls could pet them. It was great to see her and she was really cute with the girls. We walked through the pig and sheep barns before we went and stood in line, but never made it to the front of the petting zoo. We thought it would take forever, but once we got out of line and waited for Haley to meet us we looked back and noticed the people behind us had made it to the front..oh well, next year. The girls were very good and they were interested in looking at the livestock. It started to get pretty chilly by about 5:45 so we went ahead and called it a day, but for sure next year we'll go out there again just a little earlier!
