Lately..

New house!

Our first house

We have been super busy around here, but the blogging world wouldn't know because I haven't updated in forever. We are in the middle of moving out of our first house and in to our second and semi-final house. We plan on raising Laine and the next little one, whenever that might be in the new house and sending her off to college from there. I can't believe we actually are moving, but today was a finality. Closing on this house we are currently in was today at 1:30. We are having to lease back from the buyers for 5 days until we close on our new house. I don't think it's sunk in yet, but it's starting to because our house is full of boxes and we no longer own it!

There are a few things we want to do to the new house, but most of it consists of painting. The living/dining room is currently a dark shade of purple, and the den is a tuscan orange color. I also want to add some storage and coat hooks in our new laundry room and change the faucets at some point. The most exciting part of our house is the pool. It's been recently resurfaced with pebbletec finish and converted to a saltwater pool! We also have grass in addition to the pool which is something we would NOT give up. Last weekend we purchased two new couches for the main living area and gameroom upstairs and can't wait to get those delivered. I'm anxious to post pics of the house once we're in and settled. We are so excited to start making new family memories in our new house!!
