Laine started Mother's Day Out again this week at Southlake Christian. I took the morning off so I could meet her teachers and take her on her first day. She was so excited and knew exactly where to go (she went with her babysitter to Meet the Teacher a couple of days before). When we walked in I assumed that her class was on the same floor as her class last year and she kept telling me that we needed to go downstairs. Once I figured out that the 2's classes were downstairs I told her I was sorry and she said, "mommy not listen to Lainey". It was hilarious. When we finally found her room I introduced myself, hung her stuff up and she went right over to the table and started playing with playdough. I was so proud of her but a little sad at the same time because she looked like such a big girl. I hope she felt more comfortable this year since it is her second year at the same preschool! Her new sitter used to be a sub there so it's that she knows many of the teachers and her own children were students of SC before they went to elementary. I can't wait for her to learn new things and enjoy another year at a great preschool!
