First bath...she's all curled up!!
Well last night was our first night at home with Laine. She slept a lot in the hospital, so I assumed it would be the same at home...WRONG!! She was up all night fussing and just not feeling comfortable I am guessing. We are supposed to supplement her breastfeeds with a formula with more calories to increase her weight gain, but I think it makes her tummy hurt. She squirmed and whined pretty much all night. Thankfully, my mom is staying with us for a few nights and I passed her off to my mom while I tried to get some sleep.
I am definitely glad she is home though and it's totally worth the sleepless nights. I am hoping that she does learn that nights are for sleeping and days are for...well not sleeping as much! We gave her her first bath last night and she really likes it. Carlie came over to see her and she sort of guided me through the bath process. We had given her a bath at the hospital, but it's different when there is no nurse standing right there with you. We are so thrilled to have our little girl home and can't wait for the cherished memories we will have with her!!

She's so cute all curled up! How sweet... I know you are so relieved to have her home!!
It's a crazy ride with very little sleep. Blake didn't sleep hardly at all at night until she was about 9 weeks old and she suddenly started sleeping. Keep up the good work, she is precious!
