Tummy Time!!

I know Laine is a preemie, but it's never too early to start tummy time. I decided to just put her on a blanket on the floor instead of using the tummy time toy right now. She didnt do much except lay there and squirm alittle. I read in my book that it's important to start babies on their tummies for play early on. I know all of you experienced mothers out there know, but it's so that they can get a head start on their gross motor skills. Some babies who do not spend any time on their tummies when they are little tend to not develop those gross motor skills until later than normal. Laine is only 37 weeks gestational, but I want to treat her like an average newborn as much as possible.
