Last Saturday Jackson, Laine and I drove out to Granbury to meet up with Jackson's immediate and extended family. Jackson's grandma has always wanted the entire family to get-together and celebrate Christmas, but we never have been able to all make it. This year, we all made an effort to stay in Granbury for the night and spend some time together. Grandma made reservations at the Hilton and we went and ate at Spring Creek in town. It was nice to see everyone, since most of the family lives in Houston and then Dani and her family live in Little Elm. Laine had never met some of her second cousins, so it was fun to see them. Laine has 4 second cousins: Dominick and Daphne beling to Joan (Jackson's moms's siter's daughter) and Randy. Then, our godchildren, Mason and Jackson belong to Dani and her husband Jose. Laine of course is too young to really understand that they are even people that belong in her family, but we captured some cute pics at least.
Grandma reserved a suite as well and we all had a gift exchange and of course watched the Cowboy game. Jackson stayed up late hanging out with his family, but I knew Laine wouldn't sleep well in her pack-n-play, so I went to bed not long after she did. We got up the next morning and had a great breakfast and said our good-byes. I'm glad grandma got her wish for her whole family to celebrate such a special holiday together!

This is probably a ridiculous question, but I remember you bringing a little kid named Dominic to our child development class at Martin. Is that the same Dominic? If so, that leads me to wonder how you and Jackson met. I am more than likely reading far more into it, but it made me curious.
If it says this is from Roy it's not, it is from Paige.
