Jackson and I went to Grapefest with Carlie and Josh this past weekend. We met up with a guy Jackson works with and his wife, Brian and Courtney and had a great time. We walked the entire strip and there were millions of people there. Originally, we thought about bringing the girls out there with us and we agreed that that would have been a horrible idea. All the kids we saw out there were either crying or whining and you could tell the parents were NOT enjoying themselves. Our little ones were with their grandmas and inside a cool house and that's where they needed to be. We then found the Gaylord stage and watched an AC/DC cover band, who were actually pretty good. After that, we walked down the strip again and stopped in a bar called, Tap-In and had a couple of drinks. They had a band in there too and we listened and watched people dance. At about 11, we were all tired and ready to get in our beds! Wow, times have changed for sure. We had a great time though and it was nice to have an evening out with friends!
